Welcome to 3D Addict's Scene Stuff - a small place on the Web dedicated to all serious sceners and especially graphicians.(If you don't know what the scene is click here)The Scene Stuff is the subdirectory of the GFX Zone - a zone created by a graphician for all serious scene graphicians. The main purpose of Scene Stuff is to be an informative site with lots of stuff every graphician should find useful.Although Scene Stuff is mainly scene oriented, it can be used by everyone outside the scene. The other main purpose of this site, is to gather and enlarge the small community of tracers in the scene.
As we all know it, the 3D graphics have nearly overtaken the game industry, but strangely enough there are only very few quality tracers in the scene. With this site, and your help this can be changed. Therefore I encourage all respectful scene tracers to submit their best images to the trace gallery. Further more, I encourage you to write articles, tips, guides etc. and post them to this site. The turning point is that, the more quality stuff shown and published here, the more sceners will begin tracing, gain respect for tracers and begin believing in the real potential of 3D graphics made by the scene. That way more 3D contributions will be made at the parties, meaning more competition, and increase in the overall quality of 3D gfx in the scene.Eventually, with time, tracers will become a force to reckon with, capable of producing stunning art on the same artistic level as pixel graphicians.3D gfx will become a true art among sceners, and no party will be held without a trace compo! This will make the scene both stronger and more respected in the real world, so, If you are a an experienced scene tracer and would like to experience some serious 3D competition in the future, make your contributions now! :-)
If you are interested in getting some background info about myself read on, if not enjoy the rest of this site.

Well as you may guess I'm an graphician or tracer as some would say.I have been following the scene since '91 but wasn't competing in any compos until recently.I began making 2D graphics on my Amiga 500, mainly using two great programs such as Deluxe Paint and PPaint.I managed to do some nice pics back then, though most logos and stuff. You are free to use them if you want, but notify me first(they are ideal for small productions as intros or dentros). With time I really wanted to do some 3D, so I bought the A1200 but was disappointed with the speed of it.I decided to wait for some time and buy the A4000/040.After Commodore went out of business and a loooong wait for the buyer of the Amiga Technologies, I decided to buy Escoms new A4000/060.When the first Amiga models arrived in DK I was shocked with the prices. As some of you may remember, it was stupidly expensive. At that time one of my Amiga friends bought a Mac with the 68LC040 CPU and all equipment, monitor, CD Rom drive, HD, 8 MB of RAM etc. for half the price of the new A4000T!!!(which was shipped only with HD and 6MB of RAM).I was pretty impressed with the 3D Mac made images my friend showed me on his new computer, so I begun thinking about buying a Mac instead of the A4000T.
And I did.For about a 1,5 year ago I bought a PowerMac, one of the slowest around though but it was much cheaper and the speed of the 603 75MhzCPU is more or less the same as of the 060.
The Mac Os is very user friendly but very unstable too, it crashes too often and it can't multitask, something which I made a big use of on my Amigas. All in all I'm very happy with my Mac as it's great at making graphics but I wont say that it's better then the Amiga because it is not.
Now I use the Amiga 1230 and the PowerMac.The PowerMac is used for 3D, internet and school and the Amiga for for listening to mods, watching demos, making some small 2D graphics(while the other is rendering) and other computer stuff.Well that's it, the story ends here. I will not bore you anymore, enjoy the rest of this page. :-)

I'm sending my greetings to the following sceners/ex sceners and groups/ex groups - without them the scene wouldn't be what it is today!

Graphicians which gave me lots of inspiration and kept me in the state of amazement by showing what is possible to achieve using only 4, 5, ...8 bit color mode:
